Corporate Social Responsibility: Working with Charities

Corporate social Responsibility is an incredibly important part of your business.  One of the best ways to get involved in your community is to partner with a local charity for an event.  Doing so shows the community that you care about more than money.  Find a charity that supports what you believe in and help them achieve their goals.

Recently PilmerPR helped sponsor a backyard concert for the Blue Haven Foundation.  The Blue Haven Foundation works to help the spouses of law officers who have fallen in the line of duty.  They provide support to these families by visiting them and helping them get their life back together.  Learn more about the Blue Haven Foundation here.

The most important thing to remember when hosting an event for charity is to make the event about charity.  There is nothing worse than an insincere attempt at charity.

The two things you need for a good event: Ice Cream and Music.  Take a look:
