2012 Women Tech Award Nomination – Wise Public Relations

The best boss I ever had was a woman over public relations when I served on Eric Schmidt’s PR team at Novell. Some of the best entrepreneurs are women-including some great PR clients of PilmerPR.  In my personal hall of fame are Shauna Theobald, Cyd Tetro, Susan Preator, Amy Rees Anderson to name but a few. Who are some of the awesome women leaders you would like to see win an award?

Awards may seem self serving. However, they are wise investments of time for startups seeking a breakout play to success–good PR.

If businesses didn’t promote their stuff, we would never know where to get the next cool thing.  Awards from great organizations like UVEF, WTC, Ernst & Young, Popular Science, Wall Street Journal, etc. bring focus to the best of the best–rock star products and people.

Here’s a way to honor a rock star woman in your world.

Deadline on Friday!!
