Pickens Plan PR lands on 60 Minutes

One of the most sought after media targets for any corporate public relations plan is the news show 60 Minutes. So, I have great respect for T Boone Pickens’ PR team for landing him there this week. This story is a great in-depth look at the motivation behind the Pickens Plan. It asks the tough questions about his profit vs philanthropic motives. After viewing, I still like the Pickens Plan as a bridge to alternative energy and as the best short term plan for loosening the noose of foreign oil dependency around the neck of the United States.
