Campaign for national museum launch lands the firm a seat at Utah’s Golden Spike Awards
SALT LAKE CITY – PilmerPR, a Benefit LLC was recognized as a finalist by Utah’s PRSA chapter at the annual Golden Spike Awards for excellence in the category of Publicity and Media Relations. Finalists are honored for use of planning, strategy, and tactics to achieve outstanding public relations results for their clients.
PilmerPR, BLLC was nominated for work on behalf of the George Washington Museum of American History. The objective was to generate recognition of the museum’s vision, mission and get attendees to the museum’s announcement on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. To facilitate this goal, PilmerPR leveraged earned media coverage in major news outlets across 9 different states. Overall, the agency generated more than 135 million online impressions with 60 VIP’s in the room for the launch event.

This is the fifth Golden Spike Award for PilmerPR.

The Annual Golden Spike Awards honors local companies for public relations achievements. The awards are sponsored by the Utah chapters of the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators, and the Utah Society for Healthcare Communication and Marketing (USHCAM).
