Entrepreneurs and Benoit Mandelbrot have a lot in common. In my weekend work teaching UVU student entrepreneurs must think outside the box to create and execute effectively. In creating the whole new math of fractals, Mandelbrot broke the box, replacing centuries of paradigms built by man’s best mathematical minds. Since his discovery of fractals, entrepreneurial thinkers have produced massive, society changes in the areas of business, science, space, to name a few.
As an entrepreneurial startup business consultant, I assist emerging business leaders to think in new ways to succeed. We use the leading edge of technology to accelerate growth and market domination. This is very exciting work, to be sure. Bioscience, radar, clean energy, click n’ mortar ecommerce, and even manufacturing clients receive our best thinking outside the box.
Just yesterday, when our local Utah temperature bottomed out at -2 deg F, our frozen condition seemed perfectly posed for my client Spotter RF’s announcement of their radar’s deployment in the oil fields of Alaska. Using a greatly advanced version of war-making technology for peaceful purposes is and amazing transition from the 1930’s when radar first found rapid adoption. Logan Harris and his company’s engineers enhanced previous technology to find a new way, a less expensive way, a new application among many more to come for SpotterRF.
